the natural law that Christ teaches in Matthew 7 [:12], “Whatever you wish that men would do to you, do so to them.” Obviously, no father would want his own family to drive him out of the house, kill him, or ruin him because he had done things that were wrong, especially if his family did it maliciously and used force to avenge themselves without previously having brought charges against him before a higher authority. It ought to be just as wrong for any subject to treat his tyrant in such a way.
